Greater Houston Commercial Real Estate has been delivering profit-driven real estate strategies to clients since 1995. Specializing in one of the fastest growing corridors in the Houston area, we have the resources and knowledge to assist our clients and provide a real estate program which reflects their overall business objectives.

In 1995, John A. Tatum, Jr. began Greater Houston Commercial Real Estate and in 2013, it became a family business. With over 30 years experience in the management and development of financial and real estate solutions, John A. Tatum, began his firm with a commitment to professional excellence and community involvement. Prior to founding Greater Houston Commercial Real Estate, John was President and CEO of ProBank and ProBank Mortgage, a privately held bank and mortgage company, as well as President and CEO of InterFirst Bank, Conroe. He was a member of the Rotary Club of The Woodlands and serves on the Board of Directors of Montgomery County Youth Services and the Friendship Center. He is past Chairman of the Board of South Montgomery County/Woodlands Chamber of Commerce.

In 2021, his daughter Katheryn Roberts became the Broker / Owner of Greater Houston Commercial Real Estate.  For the first fifteen years of her career, Katheryn worked in the software industry in marketing, business development, and sales. In 2013, she was able to bring her experience to the commercial real estate industry where she worked as a Realtor® for Greater Houston Commercial Real Estate. Katheryn’s property management experience includes management of single-home leases, multi-family duplexes, a 16-unit apartment complex for 55 and older tenants, and Hanna Business Park, a multi-tenant retail/office/ warehouse development that provides 203,000 SF of space. She is also experienced in construction management, from the clearing of the land, to the final build-to-suit completion. Katheryn graduated with a BA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Also in 2021, John’s other daughter Angie Coumbe joined the firm. Beginning in 2018, Angie began her residential real estate career and she brought that knowledge and experience to the commercial side of the business. She enjoys building lasting relationships while providing excellent customer service. She is passionate about her clients and their real estate needs. After 20+ years in the corporate business community, she decided her favorite aspect of her past experience was working with and helping others so Real Estate was a perfect fit. Angie graduated from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University) with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree.
